South Sinai & Ras Sedr
Overview
Government and military programmes in South Sinai combine difficult rock and wadi ground conditions with genuine remoteness. Horema mobilised self-sufficient crews across Ras Sedr, Sharm El Sheikh, El-Tur, Nuweiba, Abu Rudeis and Dahab, working to the Engineering Authority of the Armed Forces' programme and security requirements.
Ground conditions ranged from loose wadi deposits and sabkha to hard rock requiring coring, so investigation methods were selected site by site rather than applied uniformly across the programme.
The portfolio includes the 1,000-unit UAE Grant housing project and the King Salman University campus, both delivered with factual and interpretative reporting to national standards.
